An English writing tutor for Colton, 12, who's falling behind
Online or in-person tutoring in English writing for a bright student in Columbus.
🇺🇸 Columbus, Ohio, United States565 views
My nephew, Colton, is 12 and in Form 3. Colton loves school but English writing has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The GCSE exam is in September.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Columbus or online, for about ten weeks.
Colton is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in English writing, you could change the course of Colton's year.

Wishing you the best, Autumn. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Tijuana but we're thinking of you. Love from Tijuana.
Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Put this on a community board in Jakarta this morning. Thinking of Columbus.
You're not alone, Autumn. Study hard! Don't give up. Thinking of Columbus
Best of luck. Study hard! My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Nagpur.
Thinking of you and your family. This could happen to any of us. I'm in teaching myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Sending strength, Autumn. Hope this works out for you. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Love from San Jose!
