Anaïs lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Strasbourg Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,750. Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Anaïs could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $5,750 goes: • adapted tricycle: $5,250 • Fitting and training sessions: $290 • Delivery and set-up: $85 • First-year servicing plan: $125 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
