I earned a place in Grade 9 at Addis Ababa Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love mathematics and want to become a software developer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $60
• School uniform and shoes: $15
• Textbooks and workbooks: $40
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $35
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Shared this with my family. Greetings from Lahore.
Thanks for sharing this, Almaz. Hope you get there. Blessings.
Thinking of you, Almaz. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best!
