I'm Alka, 19, in Grade 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study civil engineering. I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at an after-school program and I have a draft of my personal statement.
