Alejandra's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Alejandra won a place at Córdoba Technical College but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at Córdoba Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $250, which is more than we have.
I love robotics and want to become a teacher. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $250 goes:
• Laptop: $110
• School uniform and shoes: $60
• Textbooks and workbooks: $60
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $20
If you're reading this, thank you.

I can't speak highly enough about this helper. They were available when I needed them, supportive when I felt lost, and practical in their solutions.
- Helped when no one else could
I was skeptical at first, but this person proved to be reliable and genuinely interested in helping. Their response time was incredible and their solutions were practical.
