Aileen needs a gas stove and two refrigerators to reopen a street-food cart
Aileen lost a gas stove and two refrigerators to the demolition of the market and needs $850 to reopen a street-food cart and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a street-food cart in Quezon City. In July, the demolition of the market took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $850 goes:
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $550
• Initial stock: ingredients: $120
• Shop repairs and licensing: $105
• Working capital for the first month: $75
Thanks for being kind about this.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Aileen!
Sure. The biggest one is replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators, $550. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
wishing you peace, Aileen. Small businesses are the heart of Quezon City. Hope you're open again soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless
So sorry you're going through this, Aileen. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care.
