I'm Aiden, 16, in Year 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study architecture. I have a top-of-class average, I volunteer at a food pantry and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work. I'm looking for an hour a week until September. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request. Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Good luck with the exams, you've got this. It's not much but it's yours. Greetings from Ogbomosho.

    • Best of luck. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
