Ahmad's final semester of an accounting degree in Jakarta Selatan

Ahmad is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at Jakarta Selatan State College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $950. The registrar has said Ahmad can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ahmad has a top-ten-percent average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ahmad would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Ahmad isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $950 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $340 • Final term tuition: $550 • Exam and lab fees: $35 • Textbooks and materials: $25 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Joko
