Ahmad is applying to university - who can guide us?
Looking for a graduate who can spend an hour a week reviewing Ahmad's essays until July.

I'm Ahmad, 18, in Year 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study biomedical science.
I have a top-of-class average, I volunteer at my church youth group and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until July. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Glad we found this place.

Praying for you, Ahmad. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Take care
thanks for sharing this, Ahmad. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
sending love, Ahmad. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best.
Thinking of you, Ahmad. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Take care.

education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. It's not much but it's yours.
education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. After 14 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings
Thinking of you. Study hard! Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Oakland.
