Adriana can't leave home - help build a ramp
Adriana uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.
🇲🇽 Guanajuato, Mexico1,071 views
Adriana has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Adriana can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Adriana's family will cook lunch for the team.
Glad we found this place.
