A mentor in data analysis could help Adrian with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a hospitality worker for 10 years, and I'm 31. After my children starting school, I decided to move into data analysis, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in England, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. I hope life is good to you.

    • Best of luck, Adrian. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out

      • Hope it all works out. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Benin City.
