A youth football pitch for the Lotus health centre yard: help our neighbors in Pune
A community-led a youth football pitch at the Lotus health centre yard that will serve 492 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $700.
It will serve about 492 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $700 goes:
• Materials: $500
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $115
