A youth football pitch for Baobab Primary School: help our neighbors in Karachi

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 345 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $450 goes: • Permits and inspections: $15 • Materials: $380 • Safety equipment and signage: $55 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Maryam
