A youth football pitch: a volunteer-led effort in Nijmegen
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $2,650 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $610, and the remaining cost is $2,650.
It will serve about 538 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Materials: $1,600
• Permits and inspections: $250
• Safety equipment and signage: $280
• Tools hire and delivery: $520
