For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $200. It will serve about 124 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $200 goes: • Materials: $130 • Permits and inspections: $25 • Safety equipment and signage: $30 • Tools hire and delivery: $15 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Updates from Tamanna

  1. Thank you all. We're at 25% now ($50). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the suppliers and confirmed the amounts.
