We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $4,150 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $4,150. It will serve about 323 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $4,150 goes: • Materials: $3,200 • Permits and inspections: $320 • Safety equipment and signage: $410 • Tools hire and delivery: $220 Thank you so much. - Caleb
