A youth football pitch: a volunteer-led effort in Glendale
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $3,350 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $3,350.
It will serve about 245 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
