A working laptop for Toru's online degree in Setagaya
A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Toru and a full online workload.

I'm Toru, a business administration student in Setagaya. My laptop broke 2 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Setagaya.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thinking of you and your family, Toru. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in teaching myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
Thinking of you, Toru. Gave what I could, wish it was more. All the best.
Rooting for you, Toru. Study hard! I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out!
Wishing you the best. Your post was clear and honest. Please keep us posted. Love from Gwagwalada
Sending strength. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together.
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Put this on a community board in Baton Rouge this morning. All the best.
Best of luck, Toru. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't be hard on yourself for asking
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Denpasar
