A working laptop for Isla's online degree in San Diego
Isla is studying nursing on a phone; a used laptop would let Isla do assignments properly.

I'm Isla, a nursing student in San Diego. My laptop broke 6 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in San Diego.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sending love, Isla. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Praying for you, Isla. Hope you get there. Greetings from Novosibirsk.
thanks for sharing this. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
