A working laptop for Imani's online degree in Nairobi
A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Imani and a full online workload.

I'm Imani, a nursing student in Nairobi. My laptop broke 7 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Nairobi.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Wishing you the best. Looking forward to the next update. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Hope things get better soon. Your post was clear and honest. My husband and I read this together. All the best.
You're not alone, Imani. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Blessings.
