A working laptop for Haider's online degree in Islamabad
A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Haider and a full online workload.

I'm Haider, a teaching student in Islamabad. My laptop broke 3 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Islamabad.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Thank you so much.

so sorry you're going through this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Cincinnati so I could bring a meal.
Thinking of you, Haider. Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Pretoria but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
You're not alone. Shared it with a few friends. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
thanks for sharing this, Haider. Study hard! My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.
Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless.
Hope things get better soon, Haider. This could happen to any of us. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
Praying for you, Haider. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.

Keep going. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. My neighbor in Narayanganj donated after I showed her your page.
Hang in there, Haider. Study hard!
best of luck. Looking forward to the next update. After 15 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Islamabad!
