A working laptop for Fatuma's online degree in Mombasa
Fatuma is studying law on a phone; a used laptop would let Fatuma do assignments properly.

I'm Fatuma, a law student in Mombasa. My laptop broke 4 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Mombasa.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

I live about 14 km from Mombasa. I can help at the weekend, tell me what you need. Flexible on timing.

Best of luck, Fatuma. Your post was clear and honest. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Mombasa
hope it all works out, Fatuma. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
