A working laptop for Emma's online degree in Aberdeen
A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Emma and a full online workload.

I'm Emma, a graphic design student in Aberdeen. My laptop broke 4 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Aberdeen.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending strength. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I hope November is when things finally get easier. All the best.
Sending good thoughts. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Pattaya.
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care
Keep going. Shared it with a few friends. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
