Do you have a laptop collecting dust? David needs one for online coursework.

I'm David, a law student in Manchester. My laptop broke 3 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Manchester.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Stay strong, David. Your post was clear and honest. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Pune
You're not alone, David. Your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Kochi.
Sending good thoughts. Shared this with my family. Greetings from Embakasi.
