A working laptop for Carter's online degree in Townsville
Carter is studying law on a phone; a used laptop would let Carter do assignments properly.

I'm Carter, a law student in Townsville. My laptop broke 7 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Townsville.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Glad we found this place.

Sending good thoughts, Carter. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Townsville.
Shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Birmingham this morning. Take care.
You're not alone. Study hard! Take care
