A working laptop for Carter's online degree in Raleigh
Carter is studying public health on a phone; a used laptop would let Carter do assignments properly.

I'm Carter, a public health student in Raleigh. My laptop broke 5 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Raleigh.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Thank you so much.

Thinking of you and your family. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Glendale.
