A working laptop for Alok's online degree in Leeds
A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Alok and a full online workload.

I'm Alok, a teaching student in Leeds. My laptop broke 5 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Leeds.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I hope life is good to you.

Sending love, Alok. Shared this with my family. Take care.
wishing you the best. I hope things turn around soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best.
Hang in there, Alok. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn
good luck, Alok. Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Santos but we're thinking of you. Love from Santos.
Hope it all works out, Alok. Looking forward to the next update. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Leeds.
