A weekly visit for Winda, 86, who lives alone in Bogor
Looking for a friendly person in Bogor to visit Winda once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Winda, who's 86. Winda lives alone in Bogor, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Winda loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Thanks for being kind about this.

You're not alone, Aditya. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Wishing you peace. Get well soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.
Keep going, Aditya. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
Take care. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Ankara!
