A weekly visit for Sandeep, 94, who lives alone in Bhaktapur
Looking for a friendly person in Bhaktapur to visit Sandeep once a week.
🇳🇵 Bhaktapur, Bagmati, Nepal1,176 views
I'm writing for my neighbor Sandeep, who's 94. Sandeep lives alone in Bhaktapur, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Sandeep loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
