A weekly visit for Rey, 86, who lives alone in Lapu-Lapu

An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that is all Rey is asking for.

Lapu-Lapu
I'm writing for my neighbor Rey, who's 86. Rey lives alone in Lapu-Lapu, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives 770 kilometers away. Rey loves cricket, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
