A weekly visit for Ramesh, 76, who lives alone in Agra
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Ramesh is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Ramesh, who's 76. Ramesh lives alone in Agra, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives 281 kilometers away.
Ramesh loves local history, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
