A weekly visit for Rahima, 72, who lives alone in Cox's Bazar
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that is all Rahima is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Rahima, who's 72. Rahima lives alone in Cox's Bazar, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Rahima loves cricket, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Wishing you the best. Your post was clear and honest. I hope November is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Cox's Bazar.
Sending strength. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. After 28 years in logistics I know how hard it is to ask for anything.
