A weekly visit for Marisol, 91, who lives alone in Celaya
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Marisol is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Marisol, who's 91. Marisol lives alone in Celaya, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Marisol loves opera, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Praying for you, Manuel. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless

Praying for you, Manuel. Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
