A weekly visit for Danuta, 85, who lives alone in Liverpool

I'm writing for my neighbor Danuta, who's 85. Danuta lives alone in Liverpool, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Danuta loves gardening, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
