A weekly visit for Danjuma, 80, who lives alone in Port Harcourt

Danjuma lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

Port Harcourt
I'm writing for my neighbor Danjuma, who's 80. Danjuma lives alone in Port Harcourt, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Danjuma loves baking, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
