A weekly visit for Basma, 81, who lives alone in Mansoura
Looking for a friendly person in Mansoura to visit Basma once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Basma, who's 81. Basma lives alone in Mansoura, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away.
Basma loves baking, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Glad we found this place.

Sending love. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Howrah this morning.
Thinking of you. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
Best of luck, Idris. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My husband and I read this together.
Sending strength. Hope this works out for you. Thinking of Mansoura
