A weekly visit for Anika, 92, who lives alone in Dhaka
Anika lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Anika, who's 92. Anika lives alone in Dhaka, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Anika loves cricket, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Take care, Tanvir. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My husband and I read this together. Take care
Stay strong, Tanvir. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Macon.
Take care, Tanvir. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Sent it to 7 people at work. God bless.
this could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out
