A weekly ride to the Warsaw Dialysis Unit for Elżbieta
Elżbieta needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Elżbieta has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Warsaw Dialysis Unit alone. After a minor stroke, Elżbieta can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 34 km each way.
Elżbieta is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.

so sorry you're going through this, Mariusz. I hope things turn around soon. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Thanks for sharing this. Your post was clear and honest. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Warsaw
Best of luck, Mariusz. Shared this with my family. Thinking of Warsaw.
Hang in there. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 18 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from San Jose.
