A weekly ride to the Warangal Kidney Centre for Parvathi
Could you drive Parvathi to the Warangal Kidney Centre on Wednesday? A rota of 5 drivers is forming.
🇮🇳 Warangal, Telangana, India197 views
Parvathi has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Warangal Kidney Centre alone. After a foot amputation, Parvathi can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 17 km each way.
Parvathi is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
