A weekly ride to the San Diego Dialysis Unit for Gerald
Could you drive Gerald to the San Diego Dialysis Unit on Sunday? A rota of 3 drivers is forming.

Gerald has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to the San Diego Dialysis Unit alone. After a minor stroke, Gerald can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 27 km each way.
Gerald is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hang in there, Alyssa. Shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Bronx so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Milan
