A weekly ride to the San Antonio Dialysis Unit for Wayne
Wayne needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Wayne has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the San Antonio Dialysis Unit alone. After surgery on their hand, Wayne can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 14 km each way.
Wayne is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.

Keep going. Your post was clear and honest. After 25 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
you're not alone, Jack. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Praying for you, Jack. Hope the doctors have good news. God bless
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Tuxtla Gutiérrez this morning
