A weekly ride to the Newcastle upon Tyne Kidney Centre for Caleb

Caleb has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to the Newcastle upon Tyne Kidney Centre alone. After surgery on their hand, Caleb can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 29 km each way. Caleb is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments.
