A weekly ride to the Nagpur Dialysis Unit for Yamuna

A rota of drivers to the Nagpur Dialysis Unit would keep Yamuna on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Yamuna has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Nagpur Dialysis Unit alone. After surgery on their hand, Yamuna can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 21 km each way. Yamuna is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thanks for being kind about this.
