A weekly ride to the Manila Dialysis Unit for Charmaine

Could you drive Charmaine to the Manila Dialysis Unit on Monday? A rota of 3 drivers is forming.

Charmaine has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to the Manila Dialysis Unit alone. After a minor stroke, Charmaine can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 16 km each way. Charmaine is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
