A weekly ride to the London Dialysis Unit for Kevin
Could you drive Kevin to the London Dialysis Unit on Saturday? A rota of 6 drivers is forming.

Kevin has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to the London Dialysis Unit alone. After a foot amputation, Kevin can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 17 km each way.
Kevin is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Glad we found this place.

Thanks for sharing this, Cynthia. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together.
Rooting for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'm in teaching myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
So sorry you're going through this, Cynthia. Your post was clear and honest. Please keep us posted. Thinking of London.
