A weekly ride to the London Dialysis Unit for Anthony

A rota of drivers to the London Dialysis Unit would keep Anthony on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Anthony has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the London Dialysis Unit alone. After an eyesight problem, Anthony can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 26 km each way. Anthony is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Glad we found this place.
