A weekly ride to the Lagos Dialysis Unit for Jide
Could you drive Jide to the Lagos Dialysis Unit on Thursday? A rota of 4 drivers is forming.
🇳🇬 100807, Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria665 views
Jide has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Lagos Dialysis Unit alone. After surgery on their hand, Jide can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 29 km each way.
Jide is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Wishing you peace, Ifeanyi. Hope the doctors have good news. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best
I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Durban!
