A weekly ride to the Ikeja Kidney Centre for Chinedu
A rota of drivers to the Ikeja Kidney Centre would keep Chinedu on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Chinedu has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to the Ikeja Kidney Centre alone. After surgery on their hand, Chinedu can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 12 km each way.
Chinedu is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
- effort
- one weekly trip
- format
- In person in Ikeja

You're not alone. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care!
Praying for you, Halima. Wishing Chinedu a smooth procedure and a full recovery.
Best of luck. Shared this with my family. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Ikeja
