A weekly ride to the Feira de Santana Dialysis Unit for Vanessa
Could you drive Vanessa to the Feira de Santana Dialysis Unit on Thursday? A rota of 4 drivers is forming.
🇧🇷 Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil451 views
Vanessa has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Feira de Santana Dialysis Unit alone. After an eyesight problem, Vanessa can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 22 km each way.
Vanessa is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Glad we found this place.
