A weekly ride to the Belém Dialysis Unit for Carlos
A rota of drivers to the Belém Dialysis Unit would keep Carlos on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Carlos has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to the Belém Dialysis Unit alone. After surgery on their hand, Carlos can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 22 km each way.
Carlos is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
